December 3rd and 10th

Get your items repaired before Christmas!

Jewellery repairs will be available both sessions in December.

Last month this happy visitor went away with a repaired Star Wars toy which had belonged to his father, a great example of ‘Toss it, No way!’

November opening days: 5th and 12th.

Jewellery and ceramic repairs are available on 5th November, all other repair stations will be operating as usual.

Repair Cafe enjoyed being part of the Living Future’s festival held at the Coal Loader on Sunday 29 October. Lots of people stopped by to talk about repairing things. So good to see so many in the community want to repair rather than throw out.

September Repair cafes: 3rd and 10th

Jewellery and ceramics repairs are available for both Sundays in September thanks to our lovely repair volunteers. If you are bringing a broken ceramic or glass item come early and bring a box to take it home in as the glue may need a while to dry

Next cafes are August 6 and 13

Some times repairs are very simple- for example last month a toaster was given a new life by removal of a sourdough bread crumb.

Contact us if you are unsure about an item and we can advise.

June 4th and 11th

Council clean ups are often used for people to throw out broken items, but….. why not repair them and get more use of them, good for the environment and the wallet!
